TERMS OF USE

The terms of use must be carefully examined by all users and acknowledged by signature before entering the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG. Users under 12 years of age must be in the company of an adult. The minimum height is 130 cm, the minimum weight is 25 kg and the permissible maximum weight is 120 kg.

Entering SEILPARK-ENGELBERG occurs at one’s own risk and is associated with risks. All visitors to SEILPARK-ENGELBERG enter the course on their own, at their own risk and on their own responsibility. Pieces of clothing can also get dirty or damaged. The Seilpark employees have functions with regard to help, supervision and instruction. The facility will be monitored during the opening hours.

Insurance is a matter of the respective user.

In order to be able to use the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG, when entering the Seilpark you may not suffer from any illness or physical or mental impairment which could constitute a danger for one’s own health or for the health of other people. People who are under the influence of strong medication, drugs or alcohol are also not admitted.

Objects which could constitute a danger for the users themselves or for other people (mobile telephones, jewellery, cameras, etc.) may not be carried along. Moreover, long hair and pieces of clothing are to be secured. The clothing should be sportive, hiking or gym shoes.

The entire practical and theoretical safety instructions in the exercise course must be participated in before utilisation of the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG. The user is obligated to address ambiguities in the instruction and to clarify these with the Seilpark employees. All decisions and instructions of the Seilpark employees are binding. Users can be expelled in the event of violations or breaches of the safety requirements.

Users are obligated to utilise the loan equipment (climbing harness, helmet and gloves) strictly in accordance with instruction/directions. After expiry of the utilisation time the loan material has to be returned without being asked. The Seilpark employees are to be made aware of any damages to loan material.

Smoking, eating and drinking on the course is strictly prohibited. It is prohibited to throw any kind of waste or objects on the ground. Please use the waste bin and ashtray.

The length of utilisation in the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG is limited to three hours. If the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG has to be closed by the Seilpark employees on account of force majeure, there is no right to refund of the utilisation fee.

The firm Outventure AG (operator of SEILPARK-ENGELBERG) rejects any liability for all damages which can arise in connection (direct or indirect) with the utilisation of the SEILPARK-ENGELBERG. Outventure AG particularly rejects liability if these terms of use at hand will be violated, circumvented or disregarded.

The place of jurisdiction is Engelberg. Swiss Law is exclusively applied.
