ARRIVAL Holiday Paradise Engelberg
Located in the heart of Switzerland, Engelberg is optimally accessible. It is only 20 kilometres by car from the motorway, and epicures can travel comfortably from Lucerne with the “Zentralbahn” (Swiss narrow-gauge railway company) directly into the monastery village. Arrival by car:
Engelberg is conveniently accessible by car from all directions. Motorways lead from Geneva via Berne or St. Gallen via Zurich in the direction of Lucerne (Gotthard). Leave the A2 motorway at the “Stans-Süd” exit (16 kilometres after Lucerne) in the direction of Engelberg. Engelberg will be reached after 20 kilometres on an optimally developed road. Once you arrive in Engelberg, follow the white signpost in the direction of the “Fürenalp Bahn” (cable car). The SEILPARK-ENGELBERG base is located right next to the bottom station of the Fürenalp Bahn.
Please note that the number of parking spaces is limited and costs CHF 5. This is why we advise you to arrive by means of public transportation. Arrival by train:
A Zentralbahn train departs every hour from Lucerne directly to Engelberg. Proceed from the Engelberg railway station with the village bus to the Fürenalp station.
